Hi I’m Amber! I’m a Florida native and grew up between Jacksonville Beach and St Augustine! I lived around the US for the last 10 years and have made my way back to the relaxed beach vibes of Jax Beach. I’m here to shower your furry friends with love and care!

My passion for animals has led me into the world of pet sitting. As a seasoned dog walker, I understand the joy and companionship that our four-legged pals bring to our lives. While I don’t have a pup of my own at the moment, pet-sitting is the perfect way for me to channel my animal-loving energy!

Whether you have a playful puppy bursting with energy or a wise old tail-wagger, I am comfortable and experienced in taking care of dogs of all ages. I’ve had the pleasure of watching over a variety of adorable breeds over my years with Rover.

My goal is to make new pet buddies and ensure they’re as happy as can be during our time together. You can count on me to provide the loving and energetic care that your furry friends deserve. Plus, I’m more than willing to travel around Ponte Vedra Beach to cater to your pet’s needs.

Hello! My name is Abigail Norton and I’m originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. My family moved to Kingsland, Georgia when I was 10, and I moved to Jacksonville in 2023 for work and university. Moving to Georgia allowed me to discover my love of nature and science along the coast, and my passion has flourished since then!

I began working in the veterinary field when I was 15 and have learned many things along the way. Growing up with animals in the house helped a lot, as I believe the relationship between a person and their furry companion is uniquely special! I met my soul dog when I was 7, my dad got him as an anniversary present for my mom, but we had a connection the moment he came home. His name was Wicket and he was a basset hound/great pyrenees mix. Strange, right? I had never loved anything more, and everything I do related to animals is dedicated to him.

When I moved to Jacksonville, I began working at a vet clinic close to my university. This clinic taught me most of what I know now about the ever-changing field of veterinary science including animal behavior and basic medical knowledge. I can’t wait to use that knowledge to care for your fur babies the same way I’d want mine cared for!

Hi there! I’m from the sunny and scenic Ponte Vedra Beach, FL area and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I share my home with Bher, my lovable Yorkipoo who’s full of energy, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Whether we’re going for beach walks or snuggling on the couch, he’s my constant companion and the heart of my home.

I’ve always had a special connection with animals and pride myself on being great with all kinds of pets. Whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or mellow, I know how to make them feel comfortable and loved. I’m genuinely excited to meet your furry family members and promise to treat them with the same care and affection I give my own!

Hello! My name is Lindsay, and I’m thrilled to be part of the 9 to 5 Pets team. I live right here in beautiful Ponte Vedra, Florida with my mini golden, Zoey. I originally grew up in Washington State, but recently returned to Jacksonville after missing the sunshine and beaches—there’s truly no place like home.

My background is in corporate America, but over time I found myself feeling burnt out and missing a sense of purpose. Stepping into the world of pet care has been a joyful and fulfilling change. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—from geckos and rodents to large-breed dogs like German Shepherds, and even tiny Yorkies. Each one has held a special place in my heart.

I’m so excited to get to know you and your beloved pets, and to provide the same love and attention I would give my own. It’s an honor to be entrusted with their care, and I look forward to being a dependable and compassionate extension of your family.

Hello, my name is Diana and I’m here to make sure that your fur babies receive the best care possible. My goal is to ensure that they are comfortable and happy so that your mind is at ease when you are away.

I previously worked at an animal hospital in Carmel, California as a veterinary receptionist and vet assistant; this is where I learned how to medicate pets including insulin and injectables, as well as how to interact with pets in a calm and gentle manner. Additionally, I have grooming and nail clipping experience for dogs and would be happy to assist you with your pets.

I have cared for many different types of animals from dogs and cats to lizards and bunnies. I love all animals and enjoy meeting new friends!

As a dog mom myself, I know that I only want someone with a passion for animals taking care of him. I have always loved animals and I love being on the 9 to 5 Pets team!

Hello! My name is Carmen. I am so excited to be part of the 9 to 5 Pets Team and honored to be in a position to care and love for your pets as if they were my own.

I am originally from Staten Island, New York but moved to St. Augustine in 2004 and consider it my true hometown. I purchased my first home and moved with my pets to Jacksonville in 2023.

My education is in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Business, but my true passion in life is animals. My love for animals started as a kid, and I was lucky enough to have a mother that always supported this passion. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats in New York. I then got into horseback riding and was fortunate enough at 14 to own my first horse.

My professional background is primarily in the animal care industry. I’ve done pet sitting on the side since I was a teenager. I got my foot in the door with vet med, as a technician at Shelton Veterinary Clinic in 2014, before starting my career at Dogtown USA St. Augustine, where I found a love for working in the dog boarding industry. I also had the honor of working at Star 4 Equestrian, a large horse boarding facility in St. Augustine, as the business manager and in daily management of the 50+ horses on property.

My work in the animal care industry has given me extensive experience working with animals of all different sizes and temperaments, as well as an understanding that each pet is an individual with unique needs. I am confident that my professional and personal background with animals has provided me with the knowledge and skills to be entrusted with your precious babies.

I look forward to getting to know all of your pets and being able to provide peace of mind to all owners while their pets are in my care!

Aloha, I’m Mike! I was born in Hawaii but grew up in North Carolina. As an adult, I had the opportunity to move back to the Islands where my wife and I raised our daughter and I spent over twenty years working in technology and marketing.

Five years ago, my wife and I made the decision to move back to Florida to be closer to our family. My wife, a teacher, is originally from Florida. Although it’s my first time living here, I’ve visited this area for decades and have a deep affection for the history and natural beauty.

My mom and dad loved animals and I have lived with cats and dogs since I was a boy. My family shares our home with two dogs and two rescue cats.

When my family went on vacation a few years ago, we hired 9 to 5 Pets to look after our pets. In-home pet care versus boarding while we were on vacation made our trip so much more enjoyable! We were updated with pictures and details letting us know what our children were up to, and that they were fine. I was so impressed with the phenomenal service, I decided that if I ever made a career change, I would love to be a part of the team that made both my family and our pets feel so secure and happy!

After this experience, it’s hard to recommend anyone board their pet if they have the option for in-home care. I’m delighted to provide your pets with the same exceptional care that 9 to 5 Pets provided my family.

Hello! My name is Aidan Richter, I was born in Jacksonville but grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach, where I currently live. I love animals and making them happy, I believe they are like family and should lead the happiest, fullest lives! I’m currently getting my realtor license, outside of that my passion is helping others and most importantly taking care of pets. I can’t wait to meet your fur-babies and give them all the care and TLC while you’re away!

Hello! My name is Natalie! I was born and raised here in Jacksonville! I’m a huge pet lover and have devoted most of my life to helping pets. Growing up I always had an animal and they were always the best part of my day and that still applies to today! I started working at a pet store when I was 17! I was promoted soon after being hired and I managed that place for three years. After that, I started working at a dog day care, then kennel work, and lastly a vet tech. I’m very well versed on all things pet! I’m also not picky when it comes to pets! I have owned anything from hamsters, frogs, snakes, ferrets, to cats and dogs. I have loved being a vet tech and have acquired knowledge that I can use not only for this job but with my own animals! I hope to spread my knowledge and use it to help your pet in any way I can or to hopefully catch problems before they become issues. I promise to show nothing but compassion and patience towards your pet! To always put your pet first and focus on their wants and needs. I can’t wait for your pet to become a part of my family!
