Meg Rose & Molly

Meg Rose Molly & EmmeWhat brought you to Florida?
Moved to Florida 16 years ago for a job. I lived in Connecticut and the weather here is beautiful. Have worked for a great local business Firehouse Subs for the last 14+ years!

Have you always had pets?
Always had dogs and cats growing up. Usually at least two of both. As an adult have always had cats only and still have two Maine Coon cats.

Please introduce us to your Fur Family. How did you meet and become FURever companions?
Molly, my love, is a year old German Shepherd. My twin sister started talking about getting a dog about 15 months ago. Since she lives in NY we ended up deciding to get two puppies from the same litter. I started searching and found a breeder that had two little girls. End result Molly and Emme!

MollyWhat do you love most about your pet?
I don’t know if I would have made it through the isolation of the pandemic without Molly. Having somebody that gives such unconditional love has brought such joy to my life. She is so smart and I LOVE it when she looks at me and cocks her head back and forth as if she understands completely what I am saying!

Lauren Molly and BugsyHow has 9 to 5 Pets made your life easier? What does your pet enjoy the most from our service?
Molly loves Lauren and really enjoys getting out and playing with other dogs. During my work day it is so hard to give her that attention so having 9 to 5 Pets to help me with that has been a godsend! Having the same person every week has given Molly the consistency and enables her to go off knowing she‘ll get back home to mom safely.

What are your favorite activities you share with your pet?
Throwing the ball. Repeatedly…. 😊

Molly with the ballShare a fond memory with your pet:
My sister and I had the girls together up in NY in early spring which means a lot of rain. They were out in the backyard playing and when we went to let them in they were both covered in mud. I mean COVERED! I have never laughed so hard trying to get Molly in the bathtub and Emme in the shower!

Molly on BenchWhat life lessons have you learned from your Fur Family?
Trust, unconditional love, an animal’s ability to comfort their parents.
